Events

I've learned my lesson. By the time my eighteen-year-long writer's block after Remnants of Glory finally came to an end, I understood how important it is to set aside time for my writing. So I won't be making as many appearances as usual this summer in order to focus almost exclusively on finishing a new novel and also starting a book on cats. Yes, cats, but it's not your typical cat book. I'll be looking at the ways cats become expressions of our own needs and insecurities.

One new project I'm working on right now is Write TV , a web site that includes close to a hundred episodes of my television show, Writing Out Loud . Check it out at writetv.org.

But before I get back to my writing, let me share a couple of upcoming events with you.

September 11--Join me and two other authors at the Tulsa Library's Friday evening Chapter Event, a unique coming together of writers and great food. More details will be posted later, but in the meantime, for more information contact: ltorres@tulsalibrary.org

I will also be making a Los Angeles appearance in the fall of 2009. Check back for more information.

Please know that I always enjoy hearing from you, so do not hesitate to get in touch about possible bookings for Spring, 2010.

Teresa's television program, WRITING OUT LOUD, is now available on-line at writetv.org.
